PowerUs network met in Lund for a workshop. During three days people from the participating countries UK, Sweden and Norway worked together. Also represents from Denmark participated in the meeting. On the last day an open seminar about PowerUs was held for former students at the mobilization course in Lund.
One of the groups from the mobilisation course in Lund (last semester) visited the mobilisation course in Copenhagen. The group from Lund presented their project about support for Hepatitis c sufferers. After that the Danish colleagues presented their different projects which the will examined at the end of May. It was very interesting and fruitful and we are looking forward to more collaborative meetings between the students of the courses in the future.
Educators and researchers from Europe were gathered in April for the 3rd ENSACT Joint European Conference. Cecilia Heule and Ole Petter Askheim made a very appreciated presentation about the mobilisation course.

The “gapmending participatory courses”, where social work students learn togheter with students from service user organizations where developed in the School of Social Work in Lund in 2005. A few years later a similar course was created in Lillehammer University College, Norway. We are happy to hear courses inspired by the gapmening concept are being planned in London (South Bank University) and Copenhagen (Professionshögskolen Metropol). We will most propably hear more about this in time to come.
