One of the groups from the mobilisation course in Lund (last semester) visited the mobilisation course in Copenhagen. The group from Lund presented their project about support for Hepatitis c sufferers. After that the Danish colleagues presented their different projects which the will examined at the end of May. It was very interesting and fruitful and we are looking forward to more collaborative meetings between the students of the courses in the future.

The “gapmending participatory courses”, where social work students learn togheter with students from service user organizations where developed in the School of Social Work in Lund in 2005. A few years later a similar course was created in Lillehammer University College, Norway. We are happy to hear courses inspired by the gapmening concept are being planned in London (South Bank University) and Copenhagen (Professionshögskolen Metropol). We will most propably hear more about this in time to come.
